Dr Norma Collins

Norma has worked in the dental industry for over 30 years and is extremely enthusiastic to spread the word about the importance of excellent oral health, and the way that general and oral health are so closely linked.

Norma especially loves to help anxious patients overcome their fear of the dental setting and treatments, and is regarded as a bit of an expert at making patients feel comfortable and relaxed and even grow to enjoy their dental experiences.

Now, She is working in My Gentle Dentist.

Norma has worked in both the public and private sectors and also taught at the University of Queensland.

Volunteering has been important for Norma and she has been involved in a number of trips to Vietnam, Indigenous health clinics in North Queensland and Papua New Guinea.

Outside of work, Norma loves the outdoors and is very health focused. She especially loves to swim and is very much a beach lover. Life is to be enjoyed so Norma believes in physical emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Laughter yoga is practiced regularly by Norma and this helps with an ongoing sense of appreciation for all we are blessed with in Australia.
